Letters to "Givers of record" will be mailed out this week. Thanks so much for your faithful giving to this ministry in 2020. In spite of a year of challenge and conflicts, NHCF had the best attendance and financial year to date. God bless you.
A committee has been formed to look into the future growth of our church. This includes consideration of a new chapel and remodel of our existing building to expand the commons area and add meeting rooms. Your input is welcome. Contact Lee Larson, the committee chairman.
HAPPY NEW YEAR AND SEASON OF HOPE AND WELL-BEING EVEN AS WE BELIEVE THROUGH POWER AND PRESCENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
NHCF supports nine missions: The Thomases at JARRS; the Risley Family Ministries in Mexico; Navajo Christian Foundation at Dilkon on the reservation; AICM (American Indian Christian Mission) in Linden; Living Hope Women's Centers in Show Low; the Christian Community Outreach in Show Low; the Coalition Against Homelessness in Show Low, and the Salvation Army.

Pastor Tom
After the events of this week, we're asking, "What now?" The circumstances around us are troubling, and some are surely anxious, even frightened by what comes next. Well first of all, being people of faith, we put our trust in God, not men. Easily said, but it's harder to practice.
Our nation is divided. In every case, and in every election, a few thousand votes separated the candidates. We're a 50-50 nation, starting at the Congress and moving out into the states. Half of Americans want a democratic republic and half want a communist state...or so it seems. The question is: "What does God want?"
God wants to save us. "(He) desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim.2.4). "God demonstrated His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Rom.5.8). People are not the enemy. No. The enemy is the same one down through human history: the devil. Don't let him invade your minds with anger, resentment, and malice.
Remember: (We) overcame (the devil) because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of (our) testimony, and (we) did not love (our lives) even to death" (Rev.12.11).
We belong to God. He is our Protector (Ps.91) He wants us to receive the power He promised us in Christ (John 14.12,13; Acts 1.8; Heb.1.3). He wants us to pray and bind the evil forces that seek to ruin our nation (Matt.18.18).
The Bible tells us to "not fret because of evil doers...for they will wither quickly like the grass..."(Ps.37.1,2). Our obligation is to "rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; and don't fret because of him who prospers in his way"(37.7).
Yes, it's stressful to watch what's happening in our nation now but no more so than when Americans were divided in the Civil War (1861-1865). This great division has always been there between the children of light and the children of darkness (Acts 26.18).
What now? Keep the faith, persevere, give thanks and praise to God in all things...."for this is His will for you"
(1 Thess. 5.18).
